SurveySavvy is an online survey site that pays cash to participants. The site, owned by Luth Research LLC, is an international market research firm that has been in business for over 30 years.

The site is free to join and has about 1.5 million users. To join is easy but the questionnaires can be quite lengthy. You will be asked about your demographics. Such demo-graphical questions regard you age, gender, race, income, if you own your own home, your job, etc. If you have kids they will ask for their ages as well.

You will go through about 3 pages of questions before you are ready to submit. Once you submit this you can expect your confirmation email to arrive shortly. As always, when you receive an email from a company the first time it may go to your bulk folder. So, be sure to check your bulk folder if you don’t receive the email within minutes of completing the questionnaire.

On a periodic basis you will receive invitations to various surveys. Surveys are given to you based on the answers you provided in your questionnaire. You will get short surveys, long surveys, surveys about your job, surveys only about you shopping preference, the surveys really vary. I like this because the surveys are usually always something new.

The amount of money you can make with SurveySavvy varies and depends on what type of survey you are completely. Pay for each survey can range between $3 and $25.

If you have kids, sometimes SurveySavvy will ask that your child answer the questions on various surveys. This is completely up to you if you want to allow this. The surveys are generally about what kind of music they like, what TV shows they are interested in, and etc. Nothing too personal and never anything that could be deemed inappropriate.
If you refer friends and family to the site you are paid $2 for each one that joins. You can also earn a dollar for every survey they complete. That can add up pretty quick.

You don’t have to participate in every survey that is offered to you; however, you do need to stay active with the account in order to stay a member. If your account remains inactive for over a year the site will charge you a dollar. This money comes out of the money you earned, not from a checking account or credit card.
In the event that you earn at least $600 from SurveySavvy you will need to fill out a W-9 or 1099 form from the IRS and declare the income from SurveySavvy.

You won’t have to worry about getting spam because you signed up for this site. This site is very careful with your private information and does not sell your information like other sites are known to do.
